Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do I HAVE to select 9 players/defenses?
A. Yes, you must select 9 players/defenses to have a valid roster. If your roster consists of less than a valid roster, you will not receive credit for any points earned by your players in that Contest Week.
Q. Do I pay for transactions?
A. No. This is a flat fee contest. You may add or drop as many players as you choose each week and there is no charge.
Q. Are the players listed online the only players I can select for my team?
A. No. If an eligible player is not listed, any contestant may request a player not listed online and the player(s) will be added to the available list of players within 2 business days of the request. The new player's position will be determined by the Commissioner and all decisions are final. New players are available to all teams for that week/weekend's games as soon as they are listed on the site.
Q. Do you combine rushing and receiving yardage when calculating scores?
A. No, Points are calculated using rushing and receiving yards separately. So, if a running back rushes for 54 yards and has 28 yards receiving, that gives the player 5 points for rushing (every 10 yards = 5 points) and 2 points for receiving, for a total of 7 points. Make sure you do not combine the two stats to come up with 82 yards total.
Q. Do rushing yards count for my quarterback?
A. Yes. Position does not matter when it comes to scoring. So, if your quarterback rushes for 50 yards, or your running back throws for a touchdown pass, you get those points.
Q. What is the trading deadline? What about Saturday games?
A. The trading deadline is always 10 minutes before kickoff of the game the player is playing in. So, if you have two players playing on a Saturday at 11:30 AM, you may change either player up to 11:20 AM. At 11:20 AM, those players become locked and may not be changed until the following Tuesday. You may change the status of any other player that plays later in the week up to 10 minutes before kickoff.
Q. Do I get credit for all 9 of my players/defenses on my roster?
A. Yes, all 9 players earn points for you each week, unless you are eliminated that week.
Q. Can I trade for a player more than once?
A. Yes, the number of times you drop and add a player is unlimited.
Q. When can I start trading players?
A. Trading is available as soon as you register.
